Welcome to another Kitchen Tip! I’m your host Piper. In this week’s episode, I make Bacon Wrapped Jalapeno Poppers. Jalapeño for the real Spanish speakers. Watch this video to get my easy recipe! It takes about 30 minutes and only a three simple ingredients. It’s an excellent appetizer, entrée or snack. As much for a for a Mexican Fiesta, a themed dinner or to eat when watching your favorite sport’s team play hockey, soccer or basketball. It can even be a Super Bowl dish 😋
6 Bacon Slices
1 cup Cream Cheese
Oven at 350 degrees. Wear disposable gloves to make sure you don’t burn your fingers with the hotness of the pepper. Cut and seed the jalapenos. Do this by chopping off the stem part. Then slide your knife in the chili, be careful not to pierce the skin. You want to go around to remove the veins and seeds. You can use your fingers to take out most of the insides. Once your peppers are empty, you can proceed to fill them with the hard white cheese. By hard, I mean, use cold cream cheese, so it does not stick to your gloves. Make sure to squeeze as much as you can in there, without it overflowing. Wrap one bacon strip around the jalapeno. Make sure it’s thigh, so it does not unwrap while cooking. Place it in the oven for about 20 minutes or until bacon is fully cooked. Enjoy this spicy finger food with sour cream and salsa!
